1. Introduction

TubeRocket ("we", "our", or "the App") is a YouTube video publishing tool that helps users generate titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, and upload videos to YouTube. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Google Account Information

When you sign in with Google, we access:

• Your Google account name and email (for authentication)
• Your YouTube channel information (to upload videos on your behalf)

2.2 Video Content

When you use TubeRocket, we process:

• Video files you select for upload (processed locally on your device)
• Audio extracted from videos (sent to AI services for transcription only)
• Generated metadata (titles, descriptions, tags) created by AI based on your video content

2.3 App Preferences

• Language preference
• Video category preferences
• Privacy settings for uploads

3. How We Use Your Information

• Authentication: To sign you in and connect to your YouTube channel
• Video Upload: To upload videos directly to your YouTube channel via the YouTube Data API
• AI Processing: To generate titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails using AI services (Groq API)
• Audio Transcription: To transcribe video audio for better content generation using Whisper AI

4. Third-Party Services

TubeRocket uses the following third-party services:

• Google Sign-In & YouTube Data API: For authentication and video uploading. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy
• Groq AI API: For content generation and audio transcription. Audio data is sent securely and not stored permanently
• Google Gemini API: For generating titles, descriptions, tags and SEO suggestions. Only the text/audio needed for the request is sent
• AudD API: For optional copyright music detection. Audio fingerprints may be sent for analysis

No Google user data (account information or YouTube data) is shared with these AI services. They only receive the audio or text needed to generate metadata for the video you choose.

5. Google API Services Disclosure

TubeRocket uses YouTube Data API to provide its core functionality. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically, TubeRocket:

• Only requests access to the data necessary for the app's features (uploading videos, reading channel info, setting video metadata)
• Does not transfer your YouTube data to third parties, except as necessary to provide the service
• Does not use your YouTube data for advertising purposes
• Does not sell Google user data, or use it for credit-worthiness or lending purposes
• Does not use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalized or non-personalized AI/ML models
• Does not allow any human to read your Google user data, unless you give explicit consent, it is required for security purposes, or it is required by law
• Does not store your YouTube data on external servers — all data remains on your device
• Allows you to revoke access at any time via Google Account Permissions

YouTube API Scopes used:

• youtube.upload — Upload videos to your channel
• youtube — Manage your videos (edit title, description, thumbnail)
• youtube.readonly — View your channel info and video list

6. Data Storage & Security

• All app preferences are stored locally on your device using SharedPreferences
• We do not store your videos, audio, or generated content on any external server
• Authentication tokens are managed securely by Google Sign-In SDK
• We do not have our own backend server — all processing happens on-device or through direct API calls

7. How We Protect Sensitive Data

We treat your Google account data and YouTube data as sensitive and protect it with the following mechanisms:

• Encryption in transit: All communication between the App and Google APIs, and between the App and AI services, uses HTTPS with TLS 1.2 or higher. No data is ever sent over unencrypted connections.
• Secure token handling: OAuth access tokens are obtained and refreshed exclusively through the official Google Sign-In SDK and kept in the operating system's protected app storage (Android Keystore-backed storage / iOS Keychain). Tokens are never written to logs, never sent to any server other than Google, and are cleared when you sign out.
• No server-side storage: We do not operate a backend that stores your Google data. Your account information, YouTube channel data and videos only travel between your device and Google's servers.
• Data minimization: We request only the YouTube scopes needed to upload videos and manage their metadata, and we read only the data required for the feature you are using.
• Access control: No person, including the developer, has access to your Google account data, OAuth tokens or YouTube content. Data is processed automatically only on your device.
• Sandboxed local storage: Local preferences are stored inside the App's private sandbox, inaccessible to other apps, and are permanently deleted when you sign out or uninstall the App.
• Secure development: Credentials are never written to logs, and the App is built with platform security defaults (no cleartext network traffic allowed).

8. Data Retention & Deletion

• Google user data is held only on your device for as long as you are signed in.
• Signing out removes your OAuth tokens and account information from the App.
• Uninstalling the App permanently deletes all locally stored data.
• You can revoke TubeRocket's access at any time at Google Account Permissions, or request deletion via our data deletion page.

9. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. Data is only shared with the third-party services listed above, strictly for the app's core functionality.

10. Your Rights

• Revoke Access: You can disconnect TubeRocket from your Google account at any time via Google Account Permissions
• Delete Data: Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data
• Opt Out: You can choose not to use AI features and manually enter video metadata

11. Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics (by Google) to understand how users interact with the app. This helps us improve the user experience. Firebase Analytics may collect:

• App usage data (screens viewed, features used)
• Device type and operating system version
• Country/region (not precise location)
• App crashes and performance data

This data is aggregated and anonymous. It does not identify you personally. You can opt out of analytics by disabling "Usage & Diagnostics" in your device settings.

12. Children's Privacy

TubeRocket is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age.
